India hotel deals nearly triple to $493 million in H1 2026

Hotel property transactions in India surged nearly threefold year-on-year to $493 million in the first half of 2026, JLL data showed. The firm has raised its full-year transaction forecast to $1.1 billion, up 94% from 2025. Tier-II and Tier-III cities accounted for about 60% of H1 activity.
